Mav fans finally get to see their basketball prodigies on the cover of the biggest basketball game in the world. It was revealed today that Luka Dončić will on this year cover of NBA 2K22, joining him will be Dirk Nowitzki as well on the legends edition featuring Kevin Durant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Also Candace Parker was announced to be the 1st woman athlete on the cover of the game as well.
Dončić is the 2nd European athlete ( Antetokounmpo in 2019 was the 1st) to be on the cover of the 2K series. It’s also great to see Nowitzki gets his flowers as well, being one of the best players in NBA history, as Maverick fans know Nowitzki is usually off the radar. To see Dirk get this opportunity is encouraging.
Current Chicago Sky and long time LA Spark, Candace Parker is also a 2K cover athlete this year. She is the first female to grace the cover.
NBA 2k22 comes out Sept 10th for all platforms…
