Dirk Nowitzki’s Pro Celebrity Tennis Classic

Returning after a three-year break, the beloved NBA champ and Dallas Maverick favorite hosted the fifth-annual Dirk Nowitzki Pro Celebrity Tennis Classic.

All proceeds benefit The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation benefiting children’s wellbeing, health and education.

The charity pro-am competition featured the following celebrity player lineup:

Dirk Nowitzki, former Dallas Mavericks great, 2011 NBA Champion, 14 All-Star appearances, 12-time All-NBA selection, 2006-07 NBA MVP and future Basketball Hall of Famer

Luka Dončić, Dallas Mavericks superstar, 2018-19 NBA Rookie of the Year, three-time All-NBA First Team and three NBA All-Star appearances

Ben Stiller, actor known for “Meet the Parents,” “Something About Mary,” “Zoolander” and more; director and executive producer of Emmy-winning series “Severance”

Andy Roddick, former tennis pro, 2003 US Open champion and the last American man to finish No. 1 in the ATP World Tour Rankings

Mark Knowles, former World No. 1 player in doubles and 55 ATP doubles titles, including Grand Slam men’s doubles titles at the Australian Open, French Open and US Open. Five-time Olympian

John Isner,winner of the longest tennis match in history. Holds the official record for the fastest serve at 157.2 MPH. All-time leading aceleader in ATP tour history. With 16 ATP Tour titles, he’s earned 30+ wins and finished 10 straight seasons in top 20 (2010-19). He finished a career-high No. 8 in 2018.

A sold-out crowd at the Dirk Nowitzki Pro Celebrity Tennis Classic watched as former Dallas Mavericks player Steve Nash and his partner, Spencer Papa, defeated British tennis pro Luke Bambridge and his partner Leo Antonio.

On the sidelines were Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd, Michael Finley, Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber.
