Game 4: Hornets vs Mavs Recap

On Wednesday, The Dallas Mavericks played the Charlotte Hornets in the first game at the American Airlines Center this season following their tough three game road trip. The Mavericks are coming off an historic victory in which they beat the Los Angeles Clippers by 51, which is the second most margin of victory in Mavericks history. The Mavericks look to keep their momentum going and get back to .500 on the season. This is the first home game at the American Airlines Center since the tragic day of March 11th, 2019 and it’s great to have basketball return to the American Airlines Center as we await word when fans will be allowed in the arena.

Mavs Dominate With 51 Point Victory Over Clippers

On Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks played the Los Angeles Clippers as they continue their road trip to start the season. The Mavericks are coming off a 138-115 loss that saw LeBron James and Anthony Davis score 50 points combined. The Mavericks look end their early season woes earn their first win of the season.

On Friday, the Mavericks defense fell apart by allowing 61 rebounds (17 were offensive rebounds) that led to 35 second chance points. The only positive that came was Luka Doncic bouncing back from his disastrous opening night by scoring 27 points against the Lakers. The Mavericks are coming into this game looking to fix their defensive struggles.

Mavericks vs Suns Opening Night Recap

On Wednesday night the Dallas Mavericks played the Phoenix Suns on the road in their first regular season game of the season. The Mavericks are coming off a 129-127 defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday completing the preseason with a record of 2-1. The Mavericks look to start the season in the win column in the very competitive western conference.
