Luka Dončić Named February Western Conference Player of the Month

Luka Dončić was named the Western Conference Player of the Month for games played in February.

The honor is the fourth time Dončić has won the award (November 2019, February 2022, December 2022). Dirk Nowitzki (6) is the only Maverick who has won the award more times.

The Mavericks held an 8-3 record during the month of February, including a seven-game win streak from Feb. 5 to 22, which tied their longest since their championship season in 2010-11. Dončić averaged 33.4 points (.517 FG%, .398 3FG%), 9.6 rebounds, 10.3 assists and 1.8 steals in 37.2 minutes per game.

Dončić was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 5 through Feb. 11, after he led Dallas to a 4-0 week with averages of 31.3 points (.513 FG%, .442 3FG%), 10.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 37.5 minutes.

Kyrie Irving also received votes for Western Conference Player of the Month during February.
